1st Annual Edgewater Home Tour
The Edgewater Historical Society takes great pride in presenting our first annual tour of historic homes on September 17, 1989, featuring the Magnolia Glen neighborhood. All homes are within easy walking distance of one another.
Although we call this area Magnolia Glen today, when it was platted in 1888 the area was known as “Cairnduff’s Addition to Edgewater.” You can read more about it here.
The homes featured on the tour were built between 1895 and 1910. They reflect such diverse building styles as Craftsman, Queen Anne with Victorian detailing and Prairie.
This is a wonderful opportunity to view some fine, old architecture and the decorating styles of the proud owners. Please join us for a pleasant afternoon in Magnolia Glen. (It even sounds beautiful!)
