The next meeting of the Chicago History Book Group will be Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Betty A. Barclay Community Room at the Edgewater Branch of the Chicago Public Library, 6000 N. Broadway.

The subjects of the meeting are “The Sixties: Years of Hope, Days of Rage” by Todd Gitlin; “Underground: My Life with SDS and the Weathermen” by Mark Rudd; “Fugitive Days: a Memoir” by Bill Ayers; and “Flying Close to the Sun” By Cathy Wilkerson. Click here for a flyer.
