V27-2 2016 Living Treasures Award event on June 25, 2016

Vol. XXVII No. 2 - SUMMER 2016

The Edgewater Historical Society (EHS) has selected three new members for the Living Treasures of Edgewater Award. This award honors those individuals who have made significant contributions to the community by enhancing the quality of life of its citizens. Edgewater Living Treasures are residents or former residents of the Edgewater area. These are individuals who have made an outstanding achievement to Edgewater, people who have set an example of community action, helping neighbors to accomplish worthwhile goals. These are people we admire for their dedication to real change, and their determination to have positive ideas turn into reality.

For 2016 we will be honoring Anne Comeau, Dawn Wyman and Allen Stryczek. Each of these individuals have made a difference in the Edgewater community. A poster with information about them is posted at the Edgewater Historical Society Museum

The 2016 Edgewater Living Treasures Award Ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 25, 10:30 a.m. at the Edgewater Branch Library, 1210 W Elmdale Ave, Chicago, IL 60660.
