Edgewater resident Ed Marciniak wore many hats in his 84 years: a civil rights activist who worked with Martin Luther King; WWII conscientious objector; Loyola professor; champion of laborers; and prophet of inclusive community revitalization that laid the groundwork for the blossoming of Edgewater.
