CNW Timetable March 10, 1864

The following is not a real timetable, but rather an announcement that appeared in the Chicago Tribune of March 11, 1864:

CHICAGO AND MILWAUKEE RAILROAD—The company of this railroad have added another train to their schedule, which alteration requires a change in the running time. The new table, which went into effect yesterday morning, is as follows:

Trains
Leave
Arrive

Express
8:20 a.m.
8:10 p.m.
St. Paul Express
1:00 p.m.
11:25 a. m.
Night Accommodation
11:15 p.m.
11:15 p. m.
Waukegan Accommodation
5:50 p.m.
8:50 a.m.

Note: the times are when the trains leave and arrive in Chicago. The Waukegan Accommodation, as it name implies, ran only between Waukegan and Chicago. Based on the 1868 timetable, it is presumed that all trains stopped at Rosehill.
