Don’t miss the Chicago debut production of “Thamos, King of Egypt,” a Heroic Drama in Five Acts penned by Masonic German playwright Tobias von Gebler in 1773. This is the World Premiere of the first ever English translation by Morry Matson, with incidental music by W. A. Mozart (complete extended version).
Two matinee performances of the complete five act drama will be semi-staged as a dramatic reading with Mozart’s musical entractes performed between each act of the drama. The eight member cast includes:
