The Edgewater Historical Society is pleased to host the book launch program and author signing for Hidden History of Uptown & Edgewater (History Press) by Patrick Butler. Pat is a journalist with Insider Publications who has covered Chicago’s north side and Edgewater for 45 years, going back to his days with the Lerner papers. He is also President of the Ravenswood/Lake View Historical Association, and recently authored Hidden History of Ravenswood and Lake View (History Press). Pat is a great story teller. He made extensive use of the archives of the Edgewater Historical Society and uncovered some new historic tidbits.

The event is free and light refreshments will be available. A limited number of copies of Hidden History of Uptown & Edgewater will be available for purchase after the program.
