Edgewater Grocery Stores exhibit

This exhibit was our best yet for visitors and enthusiasm. With six school groups visiting and trying out all the machinery, our attendance was way up. Many of the objects in the exhibit evoked nostalgia but, for the young people, it was all new. The younger children worked at loading the scale with fruit, drew pictures of the shopping cart and the Pillsbury dough boy and cranked the coffee grinder. The high school students with work sheets to fill out asked a lot of questions. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to all who helped make it possible.
