Oral History

Last spring we began a reinvigorated oral history project with a training session and a new set of background material to research before recording the oral history. A couple of the volunteers have completed their interviews. Others have perhaps delayed because of other commitments. We would like to hear from the interviewers and set up a system for getting the interviews transcribed.

Because of the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Edgewater Community Council, we are also looking for community members who participated in the forming of the Council in 1960. Though the council had many activities over 50 years, EHS would like to focus on Operation Winthrop-Kenmore which made a significant impact on all of Edgewater.
