The Edgewater Historical Society will sponsor a new event this spring. On Sunday, May 5, 2002 we will present a Home Tour and Lunch in the Granville Avenue area near the Sovereign Hotel. This area is called John Lewis Cochran’s 2nd Addition to Edgewater. The homes included on this tour are very special because they were built in Cochran’s time and are part of the last 5 pct of the original housing. They have survived urbanization and continue to be wonderful livable and elegant homes. The Sovereign Hotel will host this event. Mark your calendars!
