Second Annual Edgewater Home Tour

The Edgewater Historical Society is pleased to announce Edgewater Glen as the featured neighborhood for our second annual Edgewater Home Tour on Sunday, September 16, 1990. Immanuel Lutheran Church, on Elmdale, has graciously consented to host the beginning registration.

The tour will include the Nicholas Kransz, Jr. home and the 1920s apartment building of EHS board member Thom Greene, in addition to at least three other notable homes. All structures are within easy walking distance of one another. Participating homeowners will receive a custom drawing of their home, compliments of Presentation Design’s Thom Greene and Rick Proppe.

The homes featured on the tour will reflect diverse building styles. This will be an excellent opportunity to view some fine, old architecture from the inside as well as the outside and to perhaps pick up some decorating ideas for your own home along the way. The printed tour booklet will address the history of the area as well as the homes.

Tickets can be reserved by sending a check (payable to Edgewater Historical Society). Include your name and address if not printed on the check. Advance tickets will be held at the registration table.
